We received 344 entries from participants in 16 countries around the globe including
Australia, Bahrain, Canada, France, Germany, India, Malaysia, Malta, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom & United States.
Over 18000 votes have been registered across 247 golus.

Srividhya Ganesan had kept a stunnig golu which was Themed on "Devas and Asuras"- 14 scenes from Hindu mythology. Not just that, her massive golu has 63 nayanmars, Hand built Thiruvanamalai, Scenes from Ramayana from Birth to Paatabishekam, Krishna Stories and Koyambedu Market. Renukadevi has taken the theme "Light" this year. She has depicted this through various festivals with hand-made customized dolls. She has also used relevant back-drops for the theme. Mahalakshmi's Golu was entirely handmade with beads. There are different mythological stories presented in this golu. Scenes from Ramayana, Story of Narasimmavadharam, Krishna leela stories, Arupadai Veedu, Lalitha Sahasranamam, Andal Story and the Playground. Click here to see her golu.

Premalatha's golu displays the various festivals starting from Vinayagar Chaturithi, Perumal Thalu, Krishna Jayanthi and Navarathri. She has also displayed Thottil Poduthal/ naming ceremony in the house and Mottai/Kaathani Vizha at the Kula Theivam temple with decorated Barbie dolls and miniature house along with her traditional 7 step golu. Mrs. Annapurni Natarajan from Chennai has been keeping golu for more than two decades. She is extremely talented and creative. Every year her golu will have a special theme. Mrs. Shanthi Seshadri, the President of Indian Club of Jakarta is a multi-talented artist. Her golus are massive, creative and stunning. Every year she invites around 500 people for Navarathri golu. She has been collecting dolls for 27 years. She creates a new theme every year using miniature dolls made with strayfoam, wood and water. Her golu has been featured in Jakarta Times. Sapthavarna is extremely proud to have Mrs. Shanthi Seshadri as our judge for the online golu contest 2020.
Mrs. Rajeswari has been keeping golu for more than three decades. She is specialized in various themes like Ramayanam, Bhagavadham, Tiruvilayadal and more. She has won many awards for her golu. Sapthavarna is extremely proud to have Mrs.Rajeswari as one of our judges for the online golu contest 2020.
